The Lotus - Solid Shampoo/ Conditioner Bar (Normal to Oily)

Our Solid Shampoo and conditioner bars are perfect for travel, camping and eliminating the single use plastic bottles of traditional shampoos and conditioners, while still getting salon quality results.

They are handmade by myself (a former Naturopathic Doctor) and are made in small batches using only the finest ingredients.

Each bar is wrapped in compostable tissue/compostable label to keep each bar sanitary while still protecting the environment. Sets come with an organic cotton ATR travel bag or select travel tins.

Key Points about our bars:

- They are pH balanced. (They are not soap, which have an alkaline pH and can cause damage to the hair) Our hair has an acidic pH and therefore in general we want our our haircare products to have a pH of 6 or lower (Acidic pH).

- They are 100% vegan, and only tested on friends & Family

- Free of toxins including No Synthetic colours and fragrances, No harsh detergents, No Mineral Oils, No Sulphates or Silicones.

- Coloured only with natural clays, botanicals, and natural colourants.

- Scented with high quality essential oils.

- Shampoo bars 70g/ Conditioner bars 35g and with proper care should last between 50-75 uses.

· Activated Charcoal powder – Deep cleansing of the hair and scalp. Tones down brassy blonde hair.

· Abyssinian oil - Intensely hydrating but light weight, great for fine, thinning or oily hair. This oil is heat resistant, making this a great conditioner to use before heat styling your hair.

· Calendula Extract – Helps protect the hair and scalp from free radical damage. Anti-inflammatory and soothing. Promotes stronger hair. May bring out highlight in blonde hair.

· Green Tea Extract – promotes hair regeneration and is anti-inflammatory. May help with problem scalp.

· Plant Keratin – mimics the functional ratios of amino acids in human hair, is film forming, thereby enhancing moisture retained within the hair. Anti-irritant benefits.

How to use: ( You will need very little of each product )

Solid Shampoo: wet hair and shampoo bar, gently apply shampoo bar directly to hair. Starting at the scalp, massage through hair until desired lather is reached, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Solid Conditioner: Start at the scalp, and move the bar over hair to the ends. Massage into hair, and then rinse. Try using your solid conditioning bar as a shave bar as well. If you find you need more conditioning add extra to the ends.

Keep product out of eyes, ear, nose and mouth.

Care Instructions: Our Bars are long lasting, but they need a little care to keep them happy! Store your bars on a well draining soap dish ( Shape allows them to stand on their side to minimize surface touching the dish ) and allow to fully dry between uses. Keep them away from direct water contact when not in use.
