Our soaps are all natural, handmade by us, using the finest ingredients in small batches and felted with very soft merino top roving.
Felted soap is similar to a soap and a washcloth in one. The wool acts like a gentle exfoliator for your skin. The wool covering helps to extend the life of your bar, enabling you to use every last bit, and makes it easier to grip in the bath or shower. It is also great for helping to increase lather in all natural soaps like ours. Wool also has natural anti-microbial properties and eliminates soap “slime”.
The wool will shrink at the same rate as the soap, until you are just left with a little piece of wool. This makes a great cat toy, can be used in cleaning, put your favorite essential oil on it and use it to naturally freshen dresser drawers, or it is fully compostable.
Our Plantable wildflower seed paper labels are from Botanical Paperworks( Winnipeg, MB) . The seed paper is biodegradable and made from post consumer material, so no trees were harmed in the making of these soap labels!
How to plant your wild flower label:
Cut label into pieces and cover your soil with the seed paper. Cover with 1/8” soil and water thoroughly. Place in a sunny corner and keep moist during germination. Tag us on Instagram or Facebook with your felted soap & growing wildflowers!
